What happens to the text you type
Nothing leaves your device. The generator is a JavaScript file that ships with the page and converts text using a local table of Unicode characters. There is no API call, no form submission, no server-side processing and no database. If you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded, the tool keeps working — that is the proof.
What we do not collect
- No account, email address or name.
- No copy of the text you paste or generate.
- No clipboard access beyond the copy button you press yourself.
- No cookies set by this site for tracking.
- No session recorders, heatmaps or cross-site advertising trackers.
The only thing this site stores on your device is a single preference: the light or dark
theme you chose, under the key ft-theme. It contains no text, no identifier and
no timestamp — it only exists so the site remembers your theme choice. Clearing your site
data removes it, and the tool works identically without it.
Hosting logs
Like any website, the server that delivers these files may record standard request data — IP address, timestamp, requested file, user agent — for security and abuse prevention. This site does not analyse those logs to build profiles, and it cannot connect them to any text you generated, because that text never reached the server.
Analytics
Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not follow you to other websites. What it reports is aggregate: which page was opened, roughly which country, which site referred you, and how fast the page loaded. Nothing you type is included, because that text never reaches the server in the first place.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled on this site, ads may be served by a third-party network such as Google AdSense. Those networks may use cookies or device identifiers to select and measure ads, and their own privacy policies govern that data. Where required by law, you will be asked for consent before non-essential cookies are set, and you can decline without losing access to the tool. No ad code ships with this site today — if that changes, this section and the date at the top of the page change with it.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, so there is nothing to delete on request.
Your rights
Because no personal data is collected by the tool itself, there is no profile to access, correct or erase. If you have a question about data handling, or about third-party ads once they are enabled, write to hello@fancytexthub.org — the address is also listed on the about page.
Changes
If this policy changes — for example when advertising is added — the date at the top changes with it, and the new text appears on this page.
